This weeks award goes to the moron who wired up this consumer unit in a newly renovated building in Manchester City Centre.

We were called in to sort out some odd electrical issues. When I opened up the consumer unit to make sure the power was isolated look what I found.

Now look closely at the Neutral incomers. You shouldn’t have to look too hard to see the problem and those in the know have already figured out what this cowboy was thinking (2.5mm x 10 = 25mm). He probably ran short of 25mm tail so figured that a group of wires would do instead. Unbelievable!!!
