Description: Although this boiler was working it was on its last legs. The owner also requested that we mount the boiler as high up as it could go to allow for a later kitchen remodel. Due to safety issues and building regulations we managed (just barely) to get the boiler up high enough for the new kitchen work surfaces to extend from wall to wall.
The old boiler was replaced with a Viessmann 100-W 26kW combi boiler which is perfect for a small flat with only a small bathroom and kitchen. We removed the old appliance and had the new one in place the same day. We did have to return the following day to due some brickwork as it was raining so hard on the first day that the mortar would have been washed away.
As we are authorised Viessmann installers we added an additional two years to their standard three year warranty so the flat owner is now enjoying the luxery a FIVE year parts and labour warranty on the boiler and a ten year warranty on the heat exchanger. Not bad for a days work!
