DANGER OF THE WEEK AWARD

Bad Plumbers…

We were called to repair a leaky waste pipe outside this property. A first glance from a side angle it appears that the seals are leaking around the swept T connector. But upon close inspection from directly in front of the pipe work the issue can be seen clearly.

My guess would be that someone replaced a waste pipe behind the toilet at some point and did not line up the pipe work properly. You can see the angle of the pipe coming out of the wall and then being twisted as it goes into the swept ‘T.’ To make matters worse, the verticval pipe work below the ‘T’ fit so poorly that the pipe has been pushed to the left in order that it fits. If you line up the brick work at the bottom of the picture and follow it upwards it’s clear that it doesn’t work.

We’ll be around next week to replace the leaking and misaligned pipe work with new connectors and we’ll make sure it all lines up like it should have been in the first place.
