Another boiler installed incorrectly! I was on site to sort out an electrical problem and discovered this while hauling my tools down the side of the house. Yet another example of an unqualified plumber shoving in a boiler as quick as he can and legging it.
We removed the weather ring and thoroughly sealed up the air brick with a sand and cement mixture to make sure products of combustion (CO) where not being sucked back into the house.
