Description: The complaint was that the hot water ran at full pressure for about thirty seconds and then would slow down to nothing. Over a period of months the slow down had become worse until only a few seconds worth of water would flow before there was nothing more than a drip. We arrived to view the problem and after checking out the gravity hot water and the pumped central heating made our decision. continue

Description: A large and leaking open vented cylinder was the initial problem. The second was the bodged repair by the first plumber on site. He tried to stop the leak with a can of expanding foam!! The addition of foam appeared to work to the ‘plumber’ and flat owner who paid him. Within 24 hours of course they notice the leak that was initially being caught with a cooking pot was now hidden and leaking inside of the foam jacket and coming from under the cylinder soaking everything in its path.
