As written to LG looking for information to help one of their clients:
A client has asked us to plumb in and repair a damaged hose on a GRL207TUJA.
Can we obtain a valid installation manual and a parts list for the door?
Thanks.
The response we received from LG UK:

Our response back to LG UK:
You win!
We received a phone call last week from Ms. Reynolds who lives in Glasgow, Scotland. She was looking for some advice. Her recently installed boiler froze up in the cold snap a few weeks back. She has called the installer who showed up, removed a section of the condensate waste pipe that was frozen and then left it like that. As you will see from the photos below the open end of the waste pipe coming from the boiler is now leaking acidic water onto her garage roof where it is freezing! That’s not all! continue

We wish to thank those of you whom we have the pleasure to serve year over the year. It is not an understatement to say that without you we would a bunch of skilled people sitting around doing nothing. We work very hard to try and make you all happy throughout the entire year. As always we try and squeeze in those last minute repairs before everyone breaks for Christmas and New Year.
This last week before Christmas we had a bathroom to complete along with a few unexpected heating system failures that required our help.
So whether you be Christian or not, whether you celebrate the holiday or not and whether you believe in Santa or not we hope that you all have a bit of time to reflect on the years highs and lows and make the New Year a happy and prosperous one not just for yourself but for everyone.
All The Best From Canadian Dave and the entire team at Advantis Home Maintenance
T’was the night before Christmas
and all through your house
a creature was stirring and it wasn’t a mouse
It was a jack of all trades and a master of none,
a cowboy gas fitter a sparky to shun.
Using crooked cut boards and a squwif hung door,
an expert at nothing so there’s bound to be more. continue
We’ve been working on a kitchen at a home in Droylsden where we are helping the home owner by cleaning up some dodgy electrics (see Cowboy Award here) and moving the pipe work to the boiler to better suit the new kitchen layout.
While visiting the site yesterday morning to see how things were progressing the homeowner and I were chatting on the pavement when a bloke walked up and shoved a leaflet at us. The pamphlet advertised a plumbing and boiler service and had a Gas Safe Register logo prominently displayed on the top corner. continue
So I get home after a long day out and pop into my home office so I can register the cooker I installed earlier today. Pretty normal stuff under the CORGI regime. I tried to input a gas job last week and there was no way to do it. When I called the newly formed Gas Safe Register (GSR) help desk I was told that they didn’t have the software finished yet! They’ve only been preparing for six months. So today I log on and hope that the software is running and I’m in luck. It is. I enter my clients postcode, confirm the address, confirm some other information and then try to enter the job I undertook which was a free standing cooker install. WRONG! continue

HAPPY NEW YEAR! From those of us taking your calls to those of us on the road trying to help you as quickly and safely as possible the entire team here at Advantis has worked hard for you every day over the last year.
Our BLOG has been a lot of fun too. It has been a great place to share with you what we do every day. We’ve been able to show current jobs, unsafe work we’ve uncovered and sometimes own opinion on things that affect our company like the recent quashing of congestion charges in Manchester. YEAH!!!!
Daily we see the misery cowboy plumbers, electricians and builders spread throughout this industry. There is always a cost involved to repair the damage they leave behind. Don’t believe me? Take a look at the awards we give out each week for the poorest quality workmanship we come across. In the next year or so money will be tight. Of that you can be sure! So use your money wisely. Spend it properly the first time. Find qualified and experienced people to make changes in your home. You really will save money in the long and short run! continue
