Description: We’ve known this customer for a long time and when we were askded if we would split the job so that he could do some and we would do some the answer was yes. The old bathroom was very tiny and we suggested pushing the wall to the right of the toilet about four inches towards the box room next door so that the tub could be located under the window. The basin and toilet then fit along the left hand wall giving the appearance of a much larger room. You must trick the eye!
The home owner hired us to remove an old balanced flue boiler and replace it with a new condensing system boiler. While we were doing that they asked us to replace all radiators and move one radiator in the back bedroom. While moving the back room radiator we noticed that the old gravity feed system for the cylinder in the loft had been piped wrong. The mistake was made twenty years ago! continue

Description: The house required a new boiler and the client also wanted it moved to the basement area and out of the kitchen. There were some challenges as we had to use a very long flue run to get the system hooked up but we were able to accomplish the job as requested. We cleaned up some other issues that we found along the way and the house is now very cosy and fuel efficiency has gone way up.

Description: This old storage combi boiler was old and not working properly. We also found that it had been piped up wrong internally! We modified the pipe work before hooking up the new system and while I worked on the Worcester 440 High Flow boiler my colleague changed all of the valves throughout the large house. We had everything completed in one day and the new boiler is producing heat and hot water more economically than the old one.
Day two begins with the final draining of the downstairs radiators once we found the hidden drain off valve in the garage. We then unpacked the new boiler and accessories and carried them up to the newly boarded loft. We also set up our kit in the loft so that we could bore a new flue hole and the holes for the condensate pipe work and pressure relief valve. continue
The day started off with an early appointment to start replacing a system boiler with a new condensing combi. We’re also moving the boiler from the kitchen to the loft and replacing all of the radiator valves while we’re at it. The job started off with a total drain down of the system, a check of the gas to make sure it was safe before we started and then the removal of the old system. continue
